Our Journey
SIFAT Canada was founded with a mission to preserve and share the rich heritage of Indian folk arts and traditions. As a non-profit performing arts school, we believe that cultural traditions are treasures that must be passed down to future generations. What started as a small community initiative has grown into a thriving organization with 9 locations across Ontario, teaching thousands of students the beautiful art forms of Bhangra, Giddha, Dhol, and Bollywood. Our journey has been about more than just teaching dance steps - it's about building community, preserving culture, and creating a space where people of all ages and backgrounds can connect with their heritage. From our youngest students at 4 years old to adults continuing their cultural education, we've created a welcoming environment where everyone can learn, grow, and celebrate Indian folk arts.
